William has enjoyed some time in Europe with his team of Billy Marmite, Billy Diamo & Billy Etna. Marmite (Billy Mexico X Vechta) jumped a fantastic Double Clear in the Grand Prix of Cabourg for 3rd place, also out of Billy Furisto is Billy Bearnaise & Tabasco from our current Summer Auction. While at Cabourg Will had the pleasure of watching the talented stallion Billy Tudor (Cevin Z X Andiamo) ridden by Jane Annett place in a 1m45, he is sire to 3 of our horses in the Auction. Etna (Billy Congo X Cevin Z) is showing her consistency placing in the top 10 multiple times in classes up to 1m45, we have a hunch she might be a favourite of Wills at the minute. Another Billy doing well on the European circuit is Billy Trysil with Ava Vernon placing in three 1m40s in recent weeks.
Not letting Will get all the limelight, our Lucy Townley got herself a ticket to HOYs in the Grade C Qualifier at the South of England County show, close behind was Billy Carmen ridden by Paul Kennedy. With lots of other Billys jumping super rounds at our most local county show, it was so great to be back on grass ahead of the Hickstead Derby show.
Looking back to the week before we were delighted for Lizzie Bunn owner of Billy Mufasa who took the Win in a 1m30 at Felbridge ridden by Pippa. Lizzie bought her through our Auction process and has seen lots of success over the last couple of years, it’s such a joy to watch the sold horses go on to achieve great things.
