The team enjoyed another great week at Hickstead, this time during The Royal International meeting.
Irish international Shane O’Reilly had his first outing for the stud and collected some great results. Billy Ring (Billy Congo x Kannan) jumped some super clear rounds in the 1.30m/1.35m classes picking up a couple of placings. His team of young horses were also fantastic with the 6 year old Billy Delight (Billy Mexico x Vechta) jumping double clear in each of her classes and placing in the 6 & 7 year old class.
Also excelling in the young horse classes were Pippa’s two 6 year olds Billy Chill (Billy Mexico x Vechta) and Billy Marmite (Billy Mexico x Vechta) both jumping double clear in all of their classes and placing in the 6 & 7 year old class. William also had the 7 year old Billy Take That (Billy Mexico x Wellington) in this class, they finished 2nd and have qualified for the final in September. Williams ride, the 6 year old Billy Sarafina (Tangelo x Billy Congo) also joined the team that didn’t have a fence down during the show.
Billy Kodak (Billy Mexico x Vechta) was having only his second outing with Pippa and claimed a super 3rd place in the 1.40m 7 & 8 year old class.

Another to jump double clear in all of his classes was the 6 year old Billy Bud (Cevin Z x Vechta) and Pippa. Lottie Tutt was unlucky not to claim her first Hickstead rug when finishing 2nd in a Newcomers on the 6 year old Billy Prescott (Cevin Z x Cruising)
Billy Angelette Tangelo x Billy Congo) has continued to impress following a great Hickstead Derby show, this time jumping clear in the Queens Cup but being so unlucky to collect a couple of time faults.

In the international classes both William and Pippa’s 7 year olds jumped great in the young horse division with Billy Spiral (Tangelo x Mexico) coming 6th on the Friday and the a brilliant 5th in the final and Billy Picador (Billy Mexico x Animo) picking up a 9th on the Tuesday and 8th in the final. Billy McCain (Cevin Z x Cruising) is rarely at a show without being in the money and collected 8th in the final speed class here.
Hickstead weeks are always busy weeks for the team here and this week was no different but as usual everyone made a great effort both at home and at the show. Well done team, thank you for all that you do!
