We were delighted with all the horse’s performances at Hickstead last week. If you follow our Instagram page, you will have hopefully seen the long lists of daily clear rounds that the team were jumping. We’re so lucky to have this incredible show centre so close to us, with multiple different arenas to jump in it’s ideal for the education of our young horses.
The highlight class of the week for us has to be the CSI1*YH 7&8. We had Billy Mufasa ridden by Pippa, Billy Be Boss ridden by Jessica Burke, Billy Etna ridden by William, Billy Be Great ridden by Lottie and Billy Fu by Lucy. All combinations competed exceptionally well in the 2 qualifiers to make it into the Final, where 3 were placed in the very competitive top 10. We were over the moon for Hickstead’s Lizzie Bunn as she is the owner of Mufasa 5th & Be Boss 6th having bought them both through our Auctions.
Well done to our super team of hard workers this week and always!
Lots of sold Billy’s doing well recently at shows like Chard Int where Billy Foxtrot and Phillip Spivey were 1st in a 1.30m and 2nd in another, Billy Bon Soir and James Pinkney also picked up a couple of placings in the 1.30ms. Addington has seen lots of Billys placed in recent age classes like Billy Gobi in the 7s with Lorraine Lock, Billy Violin in the 6s with Jess Dimmock and Billy Stuck On You in the 5s with Gina Ellis.
