It’s been great to follow so many Billy Bred horses out enjoying the sunshine at the MET Oliva Nova Tour. Great results in the 7yo classes from Billy Fern ridden by David Simpson jumping 5/6 clear rounds and picking up a few placings. Billy Jig ridden by Jemma Kirk also jumping multiple clears and has picked up 4 placings in the 1.35m 7yo age classes.
Amy Inglis has taken on the ride of William’s Billy Etna for the tour and is jumping some super rounds in the 1.40m classes, looking forward to their last weekend. Billy Alexis and Jasmin Clark have also jumped clear at the 1.40m level. Jemma Kirk had great success with Billy Ballybeg on the second week of the three week tour placing 3rd in the 1.35m Speed class. In the 1.20m classes Billy Make Haste and Hadar Cats are having a great tour having not touched a pole all of the first two weeks and collected a few bits of prize money, fingers crossed they can continue their success through the final week.
Across the country in Vilamoura, Portugal there have also been some great results like a win for Billy Van Gogh in the 1.30m ridden by Phillip Spivey and also for Catherine O’Connor on Billy Penny in the 1.10m!
Billy Hustle and Georgina Round also had a successful show at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer De La Frontera jumping many clear rounds and placing in the 1.20ms. Another chestnut Billy jumping well there was Billy Kodak and Ruth Aylmer, who placed in the 1.30m and finished the tour by stepping up to their first 1.40m.
We love to follow the success of our Billy bred horses in their new homes!
