The Billy graduates have been flying the flag all over Europe during the last week!
In Valencia Steven Franks rode Billy Ginger (Billy Congo x Gladstone), pictured above, to a win and a 2nd place finish in the 2* 1.30m classes. He also rides Billy Clairet (Billy Um Bongo x Cevin Z) for the Middleton family, and together they have enjoyed a great deal of success in the 6 year old classes. The Middletons purchased Billy Clairet from our Future Sport Horse Auction in November and it’s great to see the progress she is making so quickly. Another auction success story is Billy Be Merry (Billy Congo x Kannan) purchased by Simon and Johanna Buckley, she has been a real eyecatcher in the 5 year old classes as you can see from the video below!
In Oliva Nova, Marie Longem has been building her partnership with Billy Von Papan (Billy Congo x Cassini) jumping multiple clear rounds. Following a successful show this pair will now head the The Sunshine Tour where we look forward to watching them.
In Vilamoura Billy Celebrity (Billy Congo x Ferragamo) and Billy Everest (Billy Congo x Cevin Z) jumped clear every day in their young horse classes with Donald Whitaker for The Oakland Stables team. These 2 lovely young horses will also head to The Sunshine Tour. Also in Vilamoura was Billy Angelette (Tangelo x Cevin Z), she jumped great clear rounds in the 3* 1.30/1.35m classes with Veronica Tracy.
Edward Doyle Jnr. took his team of Billy Cavatina (Cevin Z x Animo), Billy Houston (Tangelo x Amanti) and Billy Kat (Billy JJ x Iroko) to Peelbergen for their first show of 2020, they got off to a positive start with lots of clear rounds. They now head to Sentower Park before returning to Peelbergen.
At home in the UK we were delighted to see another auction success story – this time Billy Outback (Billy Congo x Cevin Z) looking fantastic at her first show for the team at Arion Stud! Check out her video! She is another who will now head to The Sunshine Tour.
What a great start to 2020, congratulations to all of the connections!
